Meeting Minutes September 25, 2017

President Hillery called the meeting to order at 7:01 pm. Minutes from the October meeting were reviewed. No additions or corrections requested. Tom Pullen made the motion to accept, Laura Plummer seconded, and the motion carried.
The financial report was reviewed by Cindy Kirbach, Treasurer. Tom Pullen made a motion to accept the report as presented, seconded by Laura Plummer, motion carried.

  • TEACHER REPORTS:
    High School Band – Alyssa Overmann
  • Last competition at Belleville East. Good last show and made finals
  • Playoff game was a fun atmosphere
  • Bandquet went well. May simplify for next year as more casual and pizza.
  • 1 student went to Jazz IMEA and 2 IMEA.
  • Pep Band Kickoff was today.
  • Grade 6-12 concert is December 6
    High School Orchestra – Laura Plummer
  • Was very please with Lovejoy concert on November 2.
  • 6 IMEA students – 5 string and 1 percussion
  • Orchestra working Christmas Wonderland on December 17.
    Middle School Orchestra – Email Report (Sally Pierce)
  • 10 students – IMEA
  • Schumann performing at Evergreen Fountains in December
  • Committee Reports:

  • Nothing to report
    Communications – Reported by Amy Hillery
  • Last month sent out craft fair, Amazon and dine out communications.
    Technology – Tom Pullen
  • Nothing to report
    Ways and Means – Jamie Pullen
  • Luciana’s raised $100
  • Riviera Mya raised $230
  • December 13 – Chinese Buffet
  • Trivia Night
  • Nothing to report
    Craft Fair – Rose Lammers
  • Signs are all up
  • Flyers placed at hotels due to little league football tournament in town.
  • Confirmation letters have went out
  • All booths full
    Dinner Auction – Ed Gray
  • First meeting December 11 at 7pm
    Spring Vendor Fair – Jill Mitchell
  • Have 20 booths confirmed
