Band Update – 9/8/16

Hello! A couple of things:

  • Today, Thursday, 9/8 – ABOB Fall Fundraiser DUE. Please turn orders and money (checks made payable to ABOB) to me or Mr. James! For more information, click here
  • We kicked off a Trip Fundraiser, TJ’s Pizza this week! Proceeds from this fundraiser will go into your student’s Nashville trip account. Orders are due Friday, September 16. Checks made payable to ABOB. If your student didn’t grab an order form yesterday they just need to ask for one!
  • I sent an email out to those who have not yet paid the $50 Band Fees for this year. If you paid them at registration, that was for last year (2015)’s fees, not for this year (2016). Please send it in when you can. If you need to work out a payment plan, please let me know. Checks are payable to ABOB, or you can pay it online by clicking here
  • It’s time to start thinking about the ABOB Trivia Night! Friday, October 21 at the Best Western Premium Hotel (formerly Holiday Inn). For more information on how to help, donate, or reserve a table, please click here.

Looking ahead – Alton High has been chosen to be the KSDK Prep Rally on Friday, September 30! We’ll be on the air in their 6-7am broadcast… which makes for an eeeeeearly morning! More details will be send out when we know them.

I understand there has been some calendar confusion – with moving some files around, the calendar has gotten mixed up. Here are our football game dates:
Friday, September 16 (this one was left off the calendar)
Friday, September 30 – Homecoming
Friday, October 14 – Senior Night

Of course we have our usual Tuesday/Thursday rehearsals through October, and the dates for our competitions are accurate – (9/17, 9/24, 10/8, 10/15, 10/22).

A corrected calendar to print can be found here: 100 Full Calendar 2016 8.23

Enjoy the rest of the week!
