Band Update – 5/26/19

Happy long weekend!

*** Don’t forget Marching 100 Accessories orders are due tomorrow, Monday, 5/27! Please bring them to the parade – we’ll be able to grab them beforehand.

Here’s the week:

  • Monday, 5/27 – M100 in Memorial Day Parade – Memorial Day Parade Itinerary Please don’t forget Accessories Orders are due!!!
    • *If you forgot anything (instrument, shoes, etc) at AHS, we will be there at 8am tomorrow morning. Please be prompt!
    • Please make sure to drink plenty of water, bring a disposable water bottle with you in the morning, and eat a light breakfast!
  • Then we can slow down for a week, before we start all over again!!! Our Tuesday summer rehearsals begin Tuesday, June 4 – 6-8:30pm, AHS.

Looking ahead:

  • Thursday, 6/6 – Dine out for ABOB – Bluff City Grill – 5-9pm. More info. TBA
  • Tuesday, 6/11 – Full M100 Rehearsal – 6-8:30pm, AHS
  • Saturday, 6/15 – Q for a Cause (proceeds to go ABOB, Boys & Girls Club, & Junior League) for more information – Q for a Cause
  • Tuesday, 6/18 – Full M100 Rehearsal – 6-8:30pm, AHS
  • Monday, 6/24 – ABOB Meeting – 7pm, AHS
  • Tuesday, 6/25 – Full M100 Rehearsal – 6-8:30pm, AHS
  • Sunday, 6/30 – Red Bud Fireman’s Parade – Afternoon

Marching 100 info:

  • We all ready have a change to the Fall Calendar – Homecoming has been moved, so the first two weeks in October have changed. We do not have a game on 10/4, and we will attend the Washington, MO Band Festival. The Homecoming Game will be on 10/11, and we will not attend the Bi-State Marching Invitational in Potosi, MO. Please toss October from the previous calendar – A new Calendar can be found here: UPDATED M100 2019 Calendar.
