IMPORTANT! PLEASE READ: Parents – we discussed this in class last week, but I need you to be aware as well. In a group this size (160 students as well as staff and parents), we must know what is going on if your child cannot fully participate in any of our scheduled activities, whether it’s a rehearsal or a performance.

This includes contacting us regarding any special or alternate transportation arrangements. We need to know so we can not only plan accordingly, but it also verifies that you know where your student is. We have also had a spike in no call, no show absences to rehearsals and ask that you contact us for the same reasons. When we know, we can plan and most importantly we know your student is safe.

Student safety is of utmost importance, and I am responsible for everyone who travels with us, a responsibility I do not take lightly. I would hate to be caught in a situation where I just don’t know because parent and student did not communicate. Please do not send word via other students or parents – communicate directly with me. I have email on me all the time – Please just shoot me a quick email so I know what’s going on. It will keep your children safer.

Thank you!

Have a wonderful week!
